La Cocina presents the 2nd Annual San Francisco Street Food Festival.
Bigger, bolder, and better than ever. 7 times the space, 4 times the
food.
Saturday, August 21, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. in
the La Cocina neighborhood on Folsom Street from 24th to 26th Streets
and 25th Street from Treat to Shotwell.

By providing affordable, shared, commercial kitchen space, an array of industry-specific technical assistance and services, and access to market opportunities and access to capita, La Cocina works with entrepreneurs as they launch, grow, and formalize successful food businesses. We focus primarily on women from culturally diverse communities and immigrant communities. Our vision is that our program participants will become economically self-sufficient and contribute to a vibrant and diverse economy doing what they love to do.

To Our Dear and Valued Passport Holders,
It is here. The day is upon us. We have cooked the food, swept the streets, built the tents, prepped the drinks and handmade your passports. And, now? It's your turn. Thank you for buying a passport. 20% of your purchase will go to support La Cocina, a non-profit that works with low-income and immigrant entrepreneurs who are launching, growing and formalizing food businesses. The rest of your purchase will go to benefit, well, you!
And, of course, the lovely businesses you will purchase from. Many of those businesses are program participants at La Cocina, many of them are simply some of the best cooks that we know. Either way, we're jealous of the meal that you're going to have this weekend. In order to pick up your passport, please enter from the North side of 25th St at 25th and Horace (between Shotwell and Folsom). We will have a lovely passport holders' area and will-call over there, and looking forward to the big hand-off. If you have any questoins prior to then, please do not hesitate to be in touch.
